First-term Democrat Frank Kratovil is the only incumbent in Maryland's congressional delegation to lose tonight. He held the 1st District seat on the Eastern Shore, which now will go to State Sen. Andy Harris.

Come January the state's Congressional delegation will be comprised of six Democrats and two Republicans. Local Democrats Donna Edwards and Chris Van Hollen won their races with broad support.
