WASHINGTON (AP) Chandra Levy's mother will be allowed to attend the entire trial of the man who's accused of killing the federal intern. A judge ruled that Susan Levy will be able to attend the trial, even though she likely will be called as a witness.

WASHINGTON (AP) It may be decades, if ever, before voting may be safely done on the Internet. That was the assessment of a University of Michigan professor who was able to hack a prototype of the D.C. elections voting website with his students. Alex Halderman says his group was able to change votes and a master password.

ASPEN HILL, Md. (AP) Montgomery County fire and rescue officials say a small child has been taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after she and an adult woman were struck by a sport utility vehicle today in Aspen Hill, Maryland. Officials say the child appeared to be less than two years old.

BLADENSBURG, Md. (AP) President Barack Obama says there's been another month of modest job growth in the private sector. But he says the good news of 64,000 positions being added by private employers was tempered by the overall net loss of 95,000 jobs last month. He spoke at a company in suburban Maryland.
