Delmarva Braces For Coastal Flooding and Heavy Rains

The National Weather Service has issued coastal flooding, wind and high surf advisories for the entire Eastern Shore of Maryland and coastal Delaware.

Ocean City Emergency Services Director Joe Theobald the forecast has been consistent, a few lows are coming together, its a complex system with the remnants of Nicole, so its coming in a little later than we first anticipated.

The storm is expected to bring up to 40 mile per hour winds, possible widespread power outages, and substantial coastal flooding, as well as several inches of rain starting sometime late this afternoon.
