Voters in Maryland are poised to face a little deja vu when they head to the polls in November. Analysts agree it's an anti-incumbent year, but in the Maryland primary voters bucked the national trend and stuck with familiar faces.

Democratic Governor Martin O'Malley handily won eighty six percent of the vote. And former Governor Robert Ehrlich pulled in seventy five percent on the GOP side.

The two men faced each other back in two thousand six. On Tuesday Ehrlich beat a tea party candidate backed by former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. University of Maryland Professor Paul Herrnson says Ehrlich's win isn't a big surprise.

"Maryland is a much more moderate state than many of these other state's where establishment Republican candidates have been defeated," Herrnson says.

There's also a rematch slated for Maryland's first congressional district. On Tuesday state senator Andy Harris won the GOP nomination pitting him against his 2008 rival: sitting Congressman Frank Kratovil. That race is expected to garner national attention and lots of national dollars.
