
BALTIMORE (AP) Pepco is defending its response to recent storms that left many without power for days. But Pepco officials also admitted during a hearing yesterday before the Maryland Public Service Commission that they've had problems communicating with customers.
NORTH EAST, Md. (AP) Natural Resources Police have recovered the body of a Rising Sun man who was thrown from a boat when it hit a buoy in the Elk River. Officials found the body of 49-year-old Deforrest Wayne Timlin Monday evening about 500 yards north of the accident site.
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) Gov. O'Malley will talk about a reform program for Maryland's child welfare system. O'Malley joins Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown and Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake at a news conference in Baltimore today.
