Maryland's senators say nearly $10 million in federal money will help fund intersection improvements near three military facilities.

The facilities will soon see increased traffic as tens of thousands of jobs are relocated due to military base closings and realignments.

Almost $4 million will go toward improving intersections near the Bethesda Naval Medical Center in Montgomery County. Another $2.5 million will help make improvements around Andrews Air Force Base in Prince George's County. And almost $3 million will go toward intersections near the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Harford County.
