GLENN DALE, Md. (AP) Prince George's County authorities say five children have suffered minor injuries after their day care center van crashed into an SUV.

County fire department spokesman Mark Brady says the crash occurred Tuesday afternoon at Enterprise Road and Meadowland Drive in Glenn Dale. Brady says the SUV overturned and the driver was trapped until firefighters freed him. The man's injuries were not life-threatening.

He says crews are transporting five children with minor injuries to a hospital. Another 10 children in the day care center van are being taken to a hospital as a precaution.
