HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) A man faces the scheduled start of try today in Harrisonburg, accused of aiding his brother in a 2006 jailhouse escape that led to two slayings. Michael Morval is charged with conspiring to help his brother William Morval escape from jail in August 2006.

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) The Small Business Administration is making up to $2 million in loan money available for nonprofit groups and small businesses in southeastern Virginia that were hit hard by a November nor'easter.
