BALTIMORE (AP) Wind turbines and cell phone towers are on the agenda for a planned meeting today of the Baltimore County Council. The Council is considering a five-year pilot program to test wind turbines for use in manufacturing or rural areas.

BALTIMORE (AP) A Maryland group that sold Torahs to synagogues that it says were saved from the Holocaust has promised state officials not to make that claim unless independent documentation supports it. The agreement was reach with Save a Torah Inc. regarding sales of Jewish holy scrolls.
