MetroAccess Driver Accused Of Rape May Have Fled Country

Tanveer Fayyaz is a MetroAccess driver wanted for allegedly raping a disabled woman.

Police are searching for Tanveer Fayyaz. They believe he may have raped a woman he had picked up from an adult day care center in Montgomery County, Maryland last week.
Now, Metro says Fayyaz may have boarded a flight to Qatar and fled the country. Officials say they're working with several agencies including Montgomery County Police, the U.S. Marshall's Service, the Department of State and INTERPOL to secure an international warrant for Fayyaz's arrest.
Investigators say Fayazz has been a driver with Metro Access since January of this year. This was the third sexual assault of a MetroAccess passenger in the past year.
