Alternate Polling Places Available In Montgomery County

In Maryland, the board of elections in Montgomery County is reminding residents they may request a change in their polling place.
Residents can make the request for two reasons: one, if a voter's polling place is not handicapped accessible, though the board of elections says all polling places in the county for the September primary meet state regulations for accessibility. The other reason is for religious purposes.
If a voter's polling place is a religious institution, and their religion forbids them from them entering it, then the voter can request a different polling place.
All such requests must be made by August 24th. Voters can also vote via absentee ballot or during the county's early voting period, which takes place from September 3rd to the 9th.
