Gov. O'Malley Discusses Immigration And Economy

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) Gov. Martin O'Malley says job creation should be the focus of the next four months leading up to elections, but he says he respects the Obama administration's decision to sue Arizona over its immigration law.

O'Malley, a Democrat, spoke to reporters Monday about what he thinks of Obama's decision to sue Arizona over the law. The measure requires police to question a person's immigration status while enforcing other laws, if there's reasonable suspicion the person is in the country illegally.

O'Malley says the lawsuit came up during a meeting at the National Governor's Association over the weekend.
