(May 20-June 20) EVERY YOUNG WOMAN’S DESIRE Every Young Woman's Desire makes its English language debut tonight at the Clark Street Playhouse in Arlington, Virginia, as a woman's life unravels after an intruder shows up at her apartment. This darkly comical thriller was written under the specter of authoritarian rule in Santiago de Chile, and runs in Arlington through June 20th.

(May 20-22) WOMEN IN JAZZ JAM The brass of female jazz descend upon the Kennedy Center tonight for the 15th Annual Mary Lou Williams Women in Jazz Festival. This 15th annual festival celebrates the 100th anniversary of Williams' birth with three nights of jazz from the finest female performers.
