Weekend Planner: Painted Screens Pilgrimage

The city of Baltimore is known for many things: there's The Wire, the crabcakes, John Waters, Ace of Cakes and the aquarium. But sometimes lost in the mix is a unique folk art tradition that has existed for nearly a century in the city: the art of painting screen doors.

We head to the East Baltimore neighborhood of Canton to find out about the Painted Screens Pilgrimage, a tour that starts at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 15th.
