Kristen Barden is the executive director of the Adams Morgan Partnership, a non-profit that is funded through a special tax on businesses located in the Northwest Washington neighborhood.

The D.C. City Council created Barden's organization in 2005 to make Adams Morgan more appealing to customers and to business owners.
