Shootings At Prince William County Day Care

Prince William County police say they are investigating the shooting deaths of a man and woman in a home that has a day care business. Police say officers found the man and woman with gunshot wounds in the upper level of the home on Roundtree Drive early Monday. They say a man entered the house, sought out the homeowner, and then gunshots were heard.

Officials say the homeowner ran a day care.

Seven children and the homeowner's daughter were in the lower level of the home during the shooting. The children did not see the shooting.

Police have not released the names of the man and woman, but say the two were acquaintances.
