(February 6 & 7) TAKE FIVE Note: This event has been canceled due to the snowstorm. Click here for more information. It's a duet of dance and music as City Dance Ensemble joins the Levine School's Jazz Quintet for Take Five tomorrow and Sunday at the Music Center at Strathmorein North Bethesda. Dancers weave around the melodies in the intimate space of the Strathmore's education wing, in celebration of the center's fifth anniversary.

(February 6 & 7) CROSSCURRENTS CrossCurrents Dance Company presents new works at Dance Place in northeast D.C. tomorrow and Sunday. This collaboration of contemporary choreographers explores issues ranging from the economy and personal challenges to spiritual journeys and religion.

(February 7) AMERICAN VOICES Note: This event has been canceled due to the snowstorm. Click here for more information. The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center in College Park, Maryland brings American Voices to the stage Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. Students with the University of Maryland School of Music explore the sound of American music, from folk, jazz and blues to pure Copland.
