The NBA is suspending Washington Wizards guards Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton for the remainder of the season for having guns in the locker room. NBA Commissioner David Stern met with Arenas and Crittenton this week before suspending them both without pay.

Arenas pleaded guilty to a felony gun charge after an alleged confrontation with Crittenton. He's in the second season of a six-year, $111 million contract. He is scheduled to be sentenced in March.

Crittenton has been sentenced to a year of unsupervised probation for a misdemeanor gun charge.
