Parking In D.C. Gets More Expensive

A major D.C. parking meter conversion is supposed to be completed by today. That means new enforcement hours and higher rates - with enforcement on Saturdays and meters running to 10 pm in some areas.

D.C. Council member Jim Graham has oversight of parking in the city. Speaking with David Furst, he says because meters now charge two-dollars an hour in many locations, there will be more machines on the way that accept credit cards.
