Washington Wizards forward Gilbert Arenas pleaded guilty this week to a felony count of carrying a handgun without a license.

Arenas will have to wait until March to know more about his future. That's when he'll learn if he's headed to prison for a felony gun conviction, while his future with the NBA sits in limbo.

It's reported that as part of a plea deal, prosecutors have agreed not to ask for more than six months in jail for the 28-year-old forward.

However, Superior Court Judge Robert Moran is not bound by the agreement and could hand down a sentence of probation or any increment up to a maximum term of five years.

Sentencing is scheduled for March 26.
