Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas has been charged with a felony in connection with last month's locker room confrontation with a teammate. Arenas is charged with one count of carrying a pistol without a license.

He's already admitted to storing several weapons in his locker at D.C.'s Verizon Center and says he did so to keep them away from his children. He claims he didn't know it was illegal to do so.

Arenas says he removed them from the locker on December 21st during what he calls a "misguided effort to play a joke" on a teammate.

The NBA has suspended Arenas indefinitely.
