WAYNESBORO, Va. (AP) More than 2,500 animals received treatment at the Wildlife Center of Virginia last year, including 40 bald eagles. The center said Tuesday that its 2009 caseload of injured, sick and orphaned wildlife was the highest since 2004. The number of bald eagles admitted was a single-year record.
