Metro officials say bus service has resumed on most bus routes throughout the D.C., Maryland and Virginia, but there are still some restrictions.
Metro says delays depend on local road conditions, which are still rough in some places, and several routes continue to operate on snow emergency or alternate routes.
Metro Access is expected to return to normal today, with limited service to some locations due to snow and ice on roads and sidewalks.
The D.C.'s Circulator has also resumed service today, but, fewer buses are running and there are some route changes. In addition there is no service on Wisconsin Avenue, North of M street in Georgetown.
Metro is warning bus riders to be careful getting on and off of buses because most stops are still blocked by snow and slush.
