RICHMOND, Va. (AP) The Virginia State Crime Commission heard options for making "sexting" a crime but refused to recommend legislation, calling the issue a "minefield." Most commission members said the issue was best left to the state's 120 elected prosecutors.

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) Children's advocates are disappointed that the Virginia State Crime Commission is taking another year to study the transfer of juvenile offenders to the adult justice system. The commission, which has studied the issue for three years, says it still needs more information.
