RICHMOND, Va. (AP) President Barack Obama will appear in a new television advertisement for Creigh Deeds and plans to campaign with the Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Norfolk. Deeds' campaign said Wednesday that the 30-second spot features Obama calling on Virginia voters to get "fired up" to elect Deeds on November 3rd.

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) Two Virginia military bases are in the running to house the consolidation of several Marine Corps anti-terrorism units.
