Public Hearing On White Flint Development Tonight

The first of two public hearings on development around the White Flint metro station happens tonight.

Interest in the development plans for White Flint was so high, the Montgomery County Council had to schedule a second public hearing, which will be Thursday.

The county planning board's plan for the White Flint area is heavy on housing, particularly high-rise apartments and condominiums. Much of White Flint, an area of North Bethesda along Rockville Pike, is dominated by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and several strip malls.
