OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) Maryland's largest teachers lobby has given Gov. Martin O'Malley an early endorsement for re-election in 2010. Representatives from the Maryland State Education Association voted overwhelmingly on Friday to endorse O'Malley.

BALTIMORE (AP) Johns Hopkins University has dedicated the first building as part of its $1 billion medical campus expansion project. Hopkins' Wilmer Eye Institute dedicated its new $105 million building on Friday, though the facility has been serving patients for several months.
