Governor Tim Kaine says it's essential to keep the voters in Virginia who cast ballots for President Obama to do the same for Creigh Deeds.
Deeds is getting some support from the White House. Today Vice President Joe Biden attended a fundraiser for Deeds in Northern Virginia.
The Richmond Times Dispatch also reports that Kaine thinks Deeds needs to focus on issues like college affordability and education.
