Every year, an army of interns descends on Washington to work in government offices and at non-profits and businesses to beef up their resumes and gain some real-world experience before they enter the job market.

As Natalie Neumann discovers in part two of our series "Getting a Leg Up", interns don't always have to dress up... Natalie interned in the WAMU 88 5 newsroom this past summer. She's now our part-time morning assistant and reporter.
