Arlington County Fair Opens Tonight

The fair, at the Thomas Jefferson Community Center, starts at five tonight and runs through Sunday. While the indoor venue doesn't open until tomorrow, there are rides and food vendors outside. Also this year, a petting zoo, arcade games, even a competition for the best homemade jam. Admission is free, so is parking, but there is a dollar fee for a shuttle ride from the Ballston Metro station and the several free lots across the county.
