"One of the most important musicians in the last 40 years of jazz" (The New York Times), NEA Jazz Master and Grammy Award-winning drummer Jack DeJohnette will be joined by a number of his friends for a celebration of this milestone.

NEA Jazz Master and Grammy Award-winning drummer Jack DeJohnette, "one of the most important musicians in the last 40 years of jazz" (The New York Times), celebrates his 70th birthday with an international tour featuring David Fiuczynski (double-neck guitar), George Colligan (piano), and Jerome Harris (bass). This alumnus of Miles Davis's seminal recording Bitches' Brew continues to show why he is one of the most important and inventive players in jazz.

The 75-minute performance will be on Saturday, March 16 at the Terrace Theater of the John F. Kennedy Center. More information is available at the Kennedy Center website.
