D.C. Mayoral Debate at WAMU

On Wednesday, Feb. 26, WAMU 88.5 will host a major broadcast debate featuring all the Democratic candidates for mayor in the District of Columbia. As the leading public radio station in the nation's capital, this event will provide listeners a unique opportunity to join a conversation about the future of the city -- with the men and women who are competing to lead it for the next four years. The forum will take place inside WAMU 88.5's brand new media center at 4401 Connecticut Ave. NW, a state of the art broadcast venue that allows the station to double down on its commitment to community engagement and accountability journalism.
The forum will be moderated by WAMU 88.5's Kojo Nnamdi, the host of "The Kojo Nnamdi Show" and "The Politics Hour." It will also feature award-winning WAMU 88.5 reporters Kavitha Cardoza and Patrick Madden, and WAMU 88.5 resident political analyst and NBC 4 reporter Tom Sherwood as panelists.
