Art Workshop for Children

The Northern Virginia Fine Arts Association (NVFAA) invites children aged 6 and older to join emerging artists for an art demonstration and hands-on workshop. The artists will:

  • Present their work
  • Demonstrate some simple color phenomena tricks with colored paper;
  • Lead children in making geometric abstract artworks using rulers, stencils and colored pencils.

The workshop will take place Saturday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. at the Athenaeum, 201 Prince Street, Alexandria, Va. Admission is free.
