It is the first phase in the homeless continuum of care, and 30% of its clients are Hispanic. In an effort to help the non-English-speaking Hispanic homeless, the Coalition continues to focus on their cultural and communication needs and has partnered with other community-based organizations to serve them. La Casa has so far assisted 40 men obtain permanent housing, assisted 51 men move to transitional supportive housing and assisted 40 men to obtain employment.
