Supporting Kidds is a nonprofit organization working to help grieving children and their families, and to empower the greater community to support them in the grieving process.
Supporting Kidds operates grief support groups for bereaved children and young adults, as well as individualized counseling services for children and families. The organization provides education and information to families and the members of the community to educate them about the grief process. Supporting Kidds’ survival kits contain information to help families with their immediate needs during times of loss and change, and are also available to schools and other community organizations to assist them in addressing the needs of grieving children. Supporting Kidds also organizes special events for children who have lost a loved one, providing them with opportunities to have fun and enjoy the company of their peers during their healing process.
