Cancer Support Community Delaware (CSCD) is a nonprofit organization helping individuals affected by cancer enhance their health and well-being through emotional support and education. CSCD provides psychosocial support to cancer patients and their families as an integral part of total cancer care. Support groups help individuals with cancer explore the physical and emotional problems associated with the disease, while caregivers groups help family members and loved ones cope with their own needs. The organization offers nutrition sessions where participants learn about foods that aid in healing and recovery, and stress reduction programs to promote relaxation and well-being. For children and teens that have a loved one with cancer, the Kids Circle and Teen Talk programs teach strategies to help them feel less isolated. CSCD has facilities located in all three counties in Delaware. All programs are free.
