Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence (MSCFV) creates healthy opportunities to break the cycle of domestic violence through intervention and prevention by providing shelter, counseling, services, and advocacy for victims and abusers and by changing society's attitudes and systems which permit and promote such violence against women, men and families. MSCFV provides services to victims of domestic violence in Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's and Talbot counties. The agency operates a shelter to provide emergency housing and several outreach offices. MSCFV's services include a 24-hour hotline, emotional support, advocacy, support groups, crisis counseling, agency accompaniment to court, legal representation, crisis response to hospitals, information and referrals, Abuser Intervention Program, and programs for children from homes of domestic violence.
