Lauren Landau

Host, Art Beat

Landau joined the Metro Connection team in May 2011 as the program’s first-ever intern. She started with smaller assignments, and gradually worked her way up to reporting full stories. In her time at WAMU, Landau has reported both non-narrated pieces and long-form packages. She currently serves as the host of Art Beat, a daily program that updates listeners on arts and cultural events happening in the D.C. area. She is also the editorial assistant for Metro Connection, and continues to contribute stories for the program. Landau graduated from American University’s School of Communication with a BA in Journalism.
