Chester has worked in the WAMU 88.5 newsroom since August 2011, before being promoted to Audience Editor in January 2016. He writes original news stories for WAMU.org, represents the station on social media, and edits web content from the WAMU news team.

Chester has a Master's degree in Interactive Journalism from American University and has worked as a full-time web professional since 2008. His prior employers include The Washington Post and AOL Tech.

He resides in Washington D.C., with his wife Rachel.
