Cat Falls From 19th-Floor Window, Lands Safely

In Boston, a cat fell out the window of a 19th story apartment, nearly 200 feet and landed with hardly a scrape. Hugh Davis of the Animal Rescue League told WBZ-TV that cats are more likely to survive a fall from higher than nine stories because they have more time to get into a flying squirrel position to slow the descent. Still, the woman who owns the Boston cat says she's installing screens.
