Ohio Repeals Measure To Limit Bargaining Rights

Ohio's Republican Gov. John Kasich suffered a major defeat at the polls Tuesday night, when voters decided to repeal a measure that limited the collective bargaining rights of public employees. Kasich's popularity has already plummeted in a state that will likely be key to President Obama's reelection. Robert Siegel talks with NPR national political correspondent Don Gonyea about how the Republican governors of three Midwestern states — Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin — may have roused organized labor and improved Obama's odds in those states.
