(July 12) Cluster & Afro Blue Vocal Band

If you like your live music sans music, Strathmore in North Bethesda has the perfect a cappella performance for you this Saturday night. Italy's [Cluster](http://www.clustervocal.com/ita/tour.php) and Switzerland's The Glue get things started before the [Afro Blue Vocal Band](http://www.afrobluevb.com/) takes the stage to bring the heat. The ten-member jazz ensemble from Howard University packs serious pipes most recently seen on NBC's The Sing Off.

(July 11-Aug. 5) Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson

If you like it when your historical theater is really liberal with the facts, you'll really like Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, opening tomorrow at Northwest's Studio Theatre. The irreverent musical portrays the seventh president as a rock star military hottie who became a national hero after the Battle of New Orleans. Tough questions are asked, like "How important is it to be a great leader when you're already hot and popular?"

(July 10) Woody, no Buzz

A legendary American folk musician would have turned 100 this week, and D.C.'s Hill Country Live is taking note. Sarah Lee Guthrie celebrates her grandfather Woody's centennial with the help of friends and fellow musicians tonight in Northwest.
