The Yellow Line is the only Metro line not scheduled to experience delays this weekend.

Metro is doing some major repair work over the next few days that should affect riders on almost every line this weekend.

On the Red Line, buses will replace trains between Silver Spring and NoMa Gallaudet for major repairs at the Takoma, Brookland and Rhode Island Ave. stations. Trains will be running on normal weekend schedules between Glenmont and Silver Spring and NoMa-Gallaudet and Shady Grove.

Elsewhere on the Metro, trains will be single-tracking on the Orange Line, the Blue Line, and the Green Line, adding an additional 10 minutes to commuters' usual weekend travel times.

Metro is advisingriders not to use the trip planner on their website, as it will not reflect these scheduled delays.

All of the construction delays are pard of WMATA's $5 billion Metro Forward program, aimed at rehabilitating and modernizing the system's stations, escalators, and track equipment.
